Career-Word Talk About Careers….

How does a guy get a career as a gymnast?

aitck3 asked:

I know some guys start going into competitions in the middle of their college years, but how exactly do they do that? Do people look for the best and recruit them, or do the gymnasts go to the places? If they have to go to the place, what are the “places” exactly? How much do they get paid? How long do their careers last? How many gymnasts actually get a career as one, because athletic careers are always limited? I can’t find the answers anywhere. Please help. Thanks.

I’ve never seen a job advertisement for a gymnast, but there may be limited demand in circuses.

You could train to compete in competitions or the Olympics, but I doubt it is something you could make a living at, unless you become a gym teacher or gymnastics coach.

See the links below for information about these careers.

Good luck
